Personal Members of the Australian Institute of Management NSW & ACT are entitled to a discount of 10% for all items purchased from aimbooks.
Availability
If your book is in stock and available it will be dispatched immediately. While every effort is made to keep stock availability up to date, occasionally a title that is showing as available now may be out of stock. We will advise you accordingly, and ask for your instructions regarding the ordering of these titles.
If we need to order the book for you, We will let you know of the anticipated delivery time, based on advice from the publisher or distributor. Should we be unable to source the book after a period of three months, we will contact you and cancel the order. When we need to order an item in for you, the price shown may no longer be current, as new stock shipments may have different prices. We will inform you of the new price and seek your instructions before proceeding.

Delivery
Our main delivery method is by courier - a signature is required.
This means you must be at the delivery address to sign for your order as you receive it. In most cases this should guarantee next day delivery. If you are at work during normal business hours, we recommend using your work address for delivery. Please ensure your company name is included in the address details if relevant for the courier.
Cost of delivery
The standard fee for delivery anywhere in Australia is $9.50. If your purchase weighs more than 3 kilograms, the cost for delivery may be greater than this standard fee. If this applies, aimbooks will contact you prior to dispatching your item(s).
General
Couriers only deliver Monday to Friday. Goods dispatched on Friday will generally be delivered the following Monday.
Overseas Deliveries
Orders for overseas delivery can be delivered by Australia Post, Fedex or DHL. The cost of overseas delivery is largely governed by the weight of the goods. aimbooks will contact overseas customers to confirm the cost and method of delivery.
What happens when some goods are unavailable
On occasions books will be out of stock in our warehouse. When this happens aimbooks will immediately fulfil that part of the order that is available.
We will notify you of the expected receipt date for the balance of the order. The balance of the order will be delivered free of delivery charges.
If the title is available from a local distributor delivery should be within 1-2 weeks. If, however, we have to purchase the title from overseas, depending on availability, delivery could take 4-6 weeks. We will notify you of the expected delivery date.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders to be delivered within Australia, once packed, should be received within 3-5 days. International orders should be received within 5 days of packing. Please refer to your confirmation email to access your order status online.
If you order multiple books and they are not all in stock, we will advise you of their anticipated arrival times, and seek your delivery instructions.
Multiple deliveries for the same order
At this time, if your order contains titles that are in stock and ready to ship, as well as titles that are out of stock and must be back-ordered, we will send the back-ordered items to you free of an additional postage or freight charge. This applies to Australian destinations only.
For overseas orders we will ask you whether you wish to have the total order held or pay an additional freight charge when the back-ordered titles come in.
How to order
The shopping cart holds all the books and training resources that you are ordering. You can keep adding or deleting titles from the cart until you go to the checkout. Each time you find a book youd like to buy, simply click Add to cart, and the book will be placed in your shopping cart. You can then click + Purchase to continue to browse the site. The items you have put in your cart will remain there, should you continue to browse.
Every time you add a book to your cart using the Add to cart button, it will appear on your order page (in your shopping cart). When you delete an item from your cart, the cart will automatically update.
When you have added all the items you would like to buy to your shopping cart, click Checkout which will take you to the Order confirmation details page that will enable you to complete your transaction.
Please enter details in all the fields marked with an asterisk, so we can send your order to you. The items on your order appear in the Order Details section of this screen, with your orders GST-inclusive total and any applicable discounts. If you are satisfied with all details on this page, click on Checkout to enter the Payment Details page. Complete the requested details (again, the fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory), and click Submit.
You will receive an order cofirmation by email.
How to Search
The search button is in the top left-hand corner of the AIMBooks home page, and there are three different ways you can search for a book or training resource.
You can search via author, title or by the ISBN number.
Payment options
You may pay for your purchases online by credit card through our secure PayCorp service. As additional security, we store all credit card numbers on a secure computer. We also offer payment over the phone. This is listed on the payment options screen.
Personal profile
You may request access to personal information we hold about you by contacting us. If you believe that the personal information we hold about you is incomplete or inaccurate, then you may ask us to amend it. Returns
We will accept returns and offer refund or exchange up to 14 days after you receive your order. Items returned to us for refund or exchange must be in their original condition and must be accompanied by proof-of-purchase (tax invoice). Books and training resources, including CD ROMs can not be returned if the disk seals have been broken.
Initial delivery charges will only be refunded if the books you are returning are not the books you ordered; that is, if you received the books as a result of our error.
Books received as a gift may only be returned for exchange.
